Caving
Go on a guided tour with G3 Adventures. Beginner tours last for 1 hour and your guide will help you explore Pettyjohn’s Cave safely.

Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding offers tandem flights. For more experienced hang gliders, a launch point is available at Hood Overlook.

Along with kayak demos held at Queen City Lake, Battlefield Outdoors offers kayak & paddle rentals, along with shuttles to four put-in locations.
Mountain Biking
The Five Points Trail System located in Rising Fawn, Ga., is the region’s newest trail system. It is comprised of nearly 20 miles of multi-use trail.
Paddle Boarding
The City of LaFayette, along with Battlefield Outdoors, frequently host paddle board demos at Queen City Lake. Follow the LaFayette Parks & Rec Department for upcoming events.
Hiking
Cloudland Canyon, just over the county line in Dade County, offers hiking trails for all skill levels, including trails suitable for beginners.
Rock Climbing
Rocktown, located in the Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area, is a popular destination among rock climbers.
